*Please note this prescription service is for patients of Carisbrooke Surgery – East Sussex, and NOT Carisbrooke Surgery in the Isle of Wight*
Current repeat prescription procedures
We are unable to accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.
To order your prescriptions online you will need to register for either Patient Access or the NHS App.
All prescriptions will be sent directly to a nominated pharmacy and CANNOT be collected from the surgery so please make sure you have provided this information to us.
If you are on long-term medication you can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- By post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope and we’ll post it back to you.
- Via our on-line prescription ordering service – follow the link at the top of this page for Patient Access or alternatively use the NHS App.
We encourage our patients to use Patient Access or the NHS App for repeat prescription requests, however, we now have an email account which can be used specifically for this purpose. This account should be used for repeat prescription requests ONLY. Should you use this for any other request it will not be actioned.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
